The topic of handicraft is treated at present as a closed chapter of historical and pedagogical reflections functioning beyond daily practice. Activity as a primeval form of thinking as well as the fact that the child’s brain develops and grows on its basis seem to have been forgotten in young learner education. An attempt to look at handicraft in the historical and pedagogical context may in the future result in new educational forms of work beneficial for children, their intellectual development and dexterity. Handicraft in blended teaching was considered in the methodological publications of the first half of the 20th century by, among others, Key, Przyłuski, Andruchowicz, Maćkowiak and Maćkowiak.Downloads
