Abstract

In the following article the analysis of the recruitment needs of employers has been conducted in the context of the competences of candidates for the managarial/executive positions. The re-search was focused mainly on the group of social competences which are vital for transactional leadership. The results indicate that American companies are more focused on the social competences in comparison to their polish counterparts which are mostly dominated by managarial/executive competences – this also has been proven by other studies.
