Abstract

E-learning is becoming a more and more popular form of training. It is also used by universi-ties mainly through combining traditional teaching with e-learning. E-learning has both advantages as well as disadvantages. It is, however, possible to employ this form of training effectively in many areas. One of the key aspects of the training which prepares the attendees to the role of a mediator is to develop their mediation competences. This form of competence, similarly to social competences, can be developed during group work. Hence, the aim of the study is to present the possibilities of using e-learning within the framework of training and post-graduate studies prepar-ing for the profession of a mediator.
