Abstract

The matter is included in the object of interest of pedagogy of school. Invoking subject litera-ture, as well as results of own empirical research on stress of students and teachers, the author concludes that often these subjects require assistance and understanding. Stress situations are caused by 'experience' of institutional and social every-day life of school. In the undertaken con-siderations the author seeks answer to the question : to what extent is a school a place to support its subjects? Are they willing to support themselves in difficult situations? While briefly analyzing the results of the study conducted amongst pupils and educators, a concern regarding the school's climate and harmony between institutional and socio-cultural dimension of school rises. 'How else could we think differently about school and build a good climate in it?' is a question that determines creative ideas and further reforms school.
