Abstract

The purpose of the article is to describe the role of media education in network society and re-search dilemmas connected with the various ways of its defining. Network society is characterized by the high level of social space’ technologization. The development of a new information and communication technologies contemporary defined as networked have influenced the changes which are described to be transformational in the crucial areas of human activities. Those changes have influenced the necessity of crucial notions’ redefinition like education in mediated social reality. Network context of those transformations’ analysis seems to be especially interesting in studying the dilemmas and challenges of media education in technological society.
