Abstract

Providing a child with safety on the Internet is one of the most important challenges of contemporary world of the 21st century. Even more so, considering that the access to the internet is possible not only by means of a computer but also applies to many mobile devices. The conducted research was aimed at demonstrating the legitimacy of educating students of pedagogy courses in the scope of identification of threats, including cyber violence, which are directly connected with the use of modern technologies. The study sample was made up of 78 students of the second year of Pedagogy with early-school education specialization and kindergarten education at the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology at the University of Silesia in Katowice, surveyed by means of anon-ymous questionnaires.
