The discussion aims at attracting attention to a pedagogically disturbing phenomenon of a visibly lowering level of manual dexterity of children in early education. There are probably many reasons for the situation, and it is believed that it can be largely attributed to a dominating intellectualism and technical focus in elementary education on the one hand, and lack of pedagogical interest in practical activities on the other.Downloads
