Privacy policy
Principle of confidentiality:
The editors of Sacrum et Decorum apply the principle of confidentiality, which means that the manuscript as well as any correspondence or communication with the Authors and Reviewers is covered by secrecy. We expect the Authors and Reviewers to respect these conditions and thus maintain the principle of confidentiality with regard to:
- correspondence with the editors of Sacrum et Decorum,
- the prohibition to publicise reviews, reports and any material on any website or in any other way without the prior consent of the "Sacrum et Decorum" publishing team, regardless of whether the submission is eventually published.
The rules regarding the publication of preprints and postprints are described in the 'Author Rights' section.
Publication of personal data:
By submitting an article for publication in "Sacrum et Decorum", you agree to the publication of the following personal data:
- first name, surname of the author/authors of the article,
- title or academic degree of the author/authors of the article,
- place of work of the author/authors of the article,
- contact details - e-mail address, business telephone number and ORCID number of the author/authors of the article
The above personal data will be published both in "Sacrum et Decorum" (paper and electronic version) and in indexing databases with which the journal cooperates or establishes cooperation.
Personal Data Management:
"As of 25 May 2018, the new Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (Official Journal of the EU L 119 of 04.05.2016) on the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such information (known as RODO) and repealing Directive 95/46/EC came into force. On this basis, UR Publishing House informs you that:
1) The Administrator of your personal data (hereinafter referred to as the Administrator) is the University of Rzeszów, al. Rejtana 16 C, 35-959 Rzeszów, represented by the Rector,

3) Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of publishing and distributing books (magazines) on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the RODO, i.e. on the basis of the necessity of the processing for purposes resulting from the legitimate interests pursued by the Administrator of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016,
4) The recipients of your personal data are the University of Rzeszów, as well as entities providing delivery and transport services to the University of Rzeszów,
5) Your personal data will be stored for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose of processing indicated in point 3., until the data archiving obligation under the law expires,
Your rights:
6) In relation to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to:
- request the Controller to access your personal data,
- request the Administrator to rectify your personal data,
- request the Administrator to delete your personal data,
- request the Administrator to restrict the processing of your personal data,
- object to the processing of your personal data,
- transfer your personal data,
7) You have the right to lodge a complaint with the DPA when it is justified that your personal data is being processed by the Data Controller contrary to the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016, RODO,
8) The provision of personal data is voluntary, however, failure to provide data to the extent required by the Data Controller may result in the non-fulfilment of the order,

9) We also inform you that: The Administrator makes every effort to ensure all physical, technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental or intentional destruction, accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, use or access, in accordance with all applicable legislation.
