Abstract

The full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine has significantly undermined the sense of security in many countries, particularly those in Central and Eastern Europe. The responses of these countries have taken various forms, including initiatives aimed at countering Russian propaganda. This study focuses on a comparative analysis of two relatively recent legal regulations adopted in Poland and Latvia, which address the prohibition of using symbols associated with Russian aggression against Ukraine. The author seeks to assess the effectiveness of these measures and to outline potential directions for their further development.
