The aim of the article is to present the issues related to assemblies, with particular emphasis on restrictions on the possibility of organizing and holding them, which took place in connection with the outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic from March 2020. Legal acts introducing prohibitions and restrictions on this matter took the form of regulations of the Minister of Health and Council of Ministers, which was a violation of the constitutional conditions guaranteeing the freedom of assembly.
