The problem of unemployment among disabled people is a highly complex matter therefore it is difficult to explicitly identify its causes. Yet it can be undoubtedly concluded that mechanisms increasing the chances for this group of employees to take up work include legal regulations related to vocational activation. Their analysis, taking into account Polish legislation, provides evidence for a hypothesis that in some aspects they are insufficient, for instance due to the lack of systematic regulations related to supported employment, or that they are not fully applied by employers.
