Abstract

The forming of specific requirements concerning attorneys and the importance of their honesty were considered in this article.The last item has been already shaped in the ancient Rome and remained till contemporary times as regulatory and corporate arrangements.The common elements and differences between ancient and contemporary solutions, with special consideration of attorney status in polish criminal trial were showed.
