Resumen

The aim of the article is to show the attitude of the Romans in the Republican period towards the necessity of following ritual requirements, and to carry out auspices along with obeying the will of the deities shown in them in particular. The examples of the catastrophic effects of ignoring the auspices quoted here show the importance of this aspect of the public life for the Romans.
