Mediation Activities in the Educational Environment – A Glottodidactic Perspective

The aim of this article is to present the role of mediation activities in school education from a glottodidactic perspective. In European documents, mediation activities occupy a special place. In the current educational reality, in which Polish schools are becoming multicultural, such activities are indispensable. The author presents the types of mediation activities (text, concept, and communication mediation) as well as the mediators, who include not only foreign students but also Polish teachers and students.
