The aim of the article is to commemorate the long-time head of the Department of Methodology of Teaching Literature and Polish Language of the former Pedagogical University and then the University of Rzeszow. In Polish science, he became famous as the creator of the theory of inte-grating teaching and a persistent postulator of adapting school curricula to the system of changing epistemological attitudes of children and youth. The text also attempts to outline the specificity of the professor’s scientific and didactic workshop, who in the memory of his students remained a timeless model of a teacher and master.
