Abstract

The article examines and analyses the reformation processes in the educational system of Ukraine over the past five years, sums up the main problems of normalizing school lectures on Ukrainian literature, features of the transformation of humanitarianism at the transition stage from totalitarian to democratic European education, common to post-colonial societies. The problem of transformation and normalization of the canon of classical literature texts is studied through the prism of the historical heritage of Ukrainian pedagogy (first of all – the views of I. Franko) and modern European experience, first of all – Polish. Emphasis is placed on the anthropological aspect of the reduction of literature programs, the importance of public discussion of changes in education standards in Ukraine during the war, and the special role of the teacher in the introduction of integrated study of national and world literature.
