The ethical thought in Galicia in the second half of the XIX century

This study presents the ethical ideas of Stefan Pawlicki, Marian Morawski and Aleksander Skórski. The first two mentioned as the representatives of the catholic thought, emphasized the connection between ethics and religion. The third one promoted the idea of the scientific metaphysics and pointed out at the tasks of the ethics in the moral education of the society.
