Activity of Youth Councils on the Social Networkingsite Facebook – Comparative Analysis

Abstract

The following paper discusses the issue of Youth Council activity on the social networkingsite Facebook. The Facebook pages of Youth Councils from all voivodeship cities in Poland weresubjected to research. The article verifies the extent to which Youth Councils are active in the fieldof social communication with the use of Facebook. The paper also intends to explore the contentposted on the selected websites and answer the question of whether Youth Councils are activelyseeking to inform the local communities about their activities.
