Abstract

The article presents an overview of the most important projects that were undertaken at the University of Rzeszow in order to raise the information competences of the academic staff in the use of distance learning methods and techniques. Activities carried out by the University Distance Learning Center are fully in line with one of the main tasks of universities, which is the implemen-tation of the process of continuous improvement of the quality of education and is a competition on the global university market.
