Preparation of Teacher Trainees to Implementation of Programming Learning in Elementary Education

Some decades ago Papert claimed that the best way of adjusting young generations to the ICT revolution would be letting them to program. Otherwise they would become steered by the tech-nology. Programming since then have seemed to be the essential skill for the future information society. To empower this process many elementary education teachers are supposed to teach cod-ing and robotics together with kids at school and kindergarten. The paper presents pros and cons for this situation in Polish educational system concerning teachers.Downloads
