Abstract

Getting to know, learning remains still one of the most important processes in human life, today, however, it is becoming a whole-life project. At the same time multimedia are gaining more and more powerful position in this process, we can observe transfer from direct learning towards the one that is media related. One may say that on one hand it is a great opportunity to learn from the distance about people, nature, things that one would not be able to reach but on the other, it may also seem as an escape from making efforts in order to get to know the real world. Therefore we pose this question – is it new quality and opportunity or new difficulty and threat, some new convergence or fragmentation? Research shows some difficulty and elusiveness of results, the youth learn about the world in this mediated way on a large scale, some people eagerly follow this path and some stay in virtual world. What is certain is the need for new convergent education which will constantly reinforce concerns to learn in a real way that is already supported to great extent by online education.
