Abstract

The authors of this publication have examined the levels of both the incidence and awareness of cyberbullying among middle school students. The research was conducted in 15 middle schools from the Podkarpackie Province. The sample consisted in 1178 students. The results of the investigation confirmed a high level of awareness of this phenomenon among the adolescents studied, but also the occurrence of different forms of cyber-aggression in the environment of this group. 33% of respondents declared themselves to have been victims of cyberbullying, while 26% admitted using cyber-aggression or helping others use it.
