Academic E-learning – fashion or necessity

Abstract

In the contemporary world one may observe the need to organize the learning process in a fast and effective way. As a result, the interest of e-learning is increasing on all levels of education, and especially in the higher education. This results from a current economic situation, competition on the market of education, the adverse population trend and increasing unemployment. E-learning gives the possibility to gain students from abroad, the disabled ones, these who cannot give up their professional life but they want or should educate. This way of obtaining knowledge is interesting for people who want to complete their education or who want to get a new profession.
