Abstract

The research project is carried out at Kielce University of Technology for the development of an acoustic emission method for the evaluation of structural condition of reinforced concrete structures. At the same time, the analysis of an elastic wave propagation in reinforced concrete elements is carried out. This paper presents theoretical treatment of the acoustic emission wave due to cracking in concrete. It is represented by tensor moment and SiGMA procedure. Authors are going to do research on the acoustic emission wave propagation using a SiGMA 3D module in the reinforced concrete elements. It is possible by appropriate test equipment. The SiGMA 3D module can locate the source and provide the graphical wave propagation in the medium
