Anti-Plagiarism Procedure

Starting in 2025, articles and materials submitted for publication in the journal “Culture - Changes - Education” are checked using the iThenticate anti-plagiarism system – https://www.ithenticate.com.

The system enables the identification of similarities between publications and the sources used in those publications.

The journal’s editorial board uses this tool to verify the integrity of articles before the peer-review process begins.

If irregularities are detected using the aforementioned system (plagiarism, self-plagiarism), the editorial board may:

1) decide to withdraw the text without subjecting it to the peer-review process;
2) return it to the author for clarification and correction;
3) in the event of gross irregularities, notify the author’s employer and the relevant institutions of the situation.

In the event of justified claims by third parties regarding already published texts, after analyzing evidence of scientific misconduct (plagiarism, self-plagiarism), the editorial board may:

1) retract the published article, along with a notice to that effect on the journal’s website and in its print edition;
2) inform the author’s employer and the relevant institutions of the situation.

Such reports should be addressed to the Editor-in-Chief, Deputy Editor-in-Chief, or Editorial Secretary.
