The moral condition of a knowledge-based economy. How to improve it?

The author of the article looks for the answer to the question about the morality of a knowledge-based economy. This search is preceded by an analysis of the research results of scientific authorities, including the social teaching of the Catholic Church. It results from them that the study of the functionality of moral principles is useful for improving the mechanisms of functioning of the knowledge-based economy. The harmonious improvement of the quality of valuable life in all spheres of being and human action is consistent with the ethical demands of science and religion. Building such a focused knowledge-based economy requires holistic thinking, integration of research achievements of all sciences, as well as learning from the functions of the deposit of spiritual values postulated by religions.Downloads
