Abstract

Two issues were addressed in this paper. First, investment decisions were considered and presented in the light of macroeconomic conditions. Second, a formal analysis of factors influencing investment decisions by entrepreneurs was presented. Investments are an essential factor in the development of the company. They include costs for companies, which are aimed at obtaining benefits in the future. Investments stimulate the economy and serves as the next consumer spending, government spending and net exports a basic component of the Gross Domestic Product. In economic theory can be seen different approaches to investing. This is due to change in the approach to the problem in question and individual preferences. To carry out the research were used data taken from the Information Bulletin of the NBP and GUS Statistical Yearbooks. Analysis of macroeconomic variables studied showed that the greatest impact on investment are: investment in fixed assets, loans and advances to businesses, interest on deposits (6 months), the interest rate on loans for economic purposes. Concluding remarks were a synthesis of both descriptive and formal analysis.
