Abstract

As a result of globalization in the economic sphere some of the instruments of state interven-tion in the socio-economic plane were weakened. The article presents the positions of well- known representatives of economics and sociology occupied with socio-economic changes occurring as a result of globalization. The presented issues are included in the three interlinked aspects on the basis of feedback issues re-lating to the impact of globalization on the changing role of the state in the economy, the situation of employers and employees on the labor market and the progressive growth of social inequality.
