Positive attitude towards readings in the work of a Polish language teacher – examples, rules and conclusions

The article discusses the importance of a positive attitude of a Polish teacher towards the readings that he discusses in class. The teacher’s commitment, activity and interesting and functional methodological proposals have a significant impact on the level of reading motivation of students. The first part of the article reviews the proposals of students of Polish philology, who, as part of exercises in Polish language didactics, developed ways of positively attitude of secondary school students towards selected works from the reading list. In the second part of the text, the solutions of future literature teachers are supplemented with the principles of arousing and maintaining reading motivation, developed on the basis of the work of neurodidactics and the experience of the author of the article.
