“And one thing we know only. And nothing changes”. In memory of Professor Henryk Kurczab

Abstract

The paper is dedicated to the memory of Henryk Kurczab (1930-2022), a teacher of Polish lite-rature and language associated with the Rzeszow polonology Department of Polish Language, the creator of the concept of integration of Polish language education, professor at the Higher School of Pedagogy and the University of Rzeszow. The sketch is a collection of memories, covering the span of the Professor’s life and his academic biography, as well as various forms of his creative activity. In the paper with an axiological slant, based on reminiscences, three threads intertwine: personal, biographical and bibliographical.
