The text is a report on the international academic conference The Galician Melting Pot. The Intelligentsia under Austrian Rule (1772–1918), which took place in Rzeszów on 21–22 September 2023. The author of the report presented selected participants and the subjects of their papers, as well as summarized the proceedings. The conference was organized by the Institute of History of the University of Rzeszów as part of the Ministry of Education and Science program Excellent Science – Support for Academic Conferences (project DNK/SP/548241/2022).
