The changing economic reality, especially the progressing process of globalization, forces all economies to think about investments in human capital, especially in the area of knowledge and competences. The development of the economy of our country has been based on the use of the special feature of the Polish labor market over last 15 years. The two most important determinants that push to decide about choosing Poland as a place for ongoing business projects are highly qualified workforce as well as very low labor costs. This situation was conducive to the fact that we have become a country with an export advantage over imports and a place where businesses from high-tech industries were concentrated. Noteworthy is the fact that at that time very few Polish companies could boast of their business successes. The international corporations with their establishments, located, for example, in Special Economic Zones, were in charge of economic growth and growing economic exchange. One of such zones is the Podkarpacki Science and Technology Park AEROPOLIS. In its area, its businesses are run by companies that deal with the management and control of production processes. The indicated companies, in many cases employ graduates of Rzeszow universities. The article is based on the analysis of the answers that were given to the article authors by the owner of the company that deal with the sale of control systems and production management that are used in the high technology industry.Downloads
