Abstract

The primary aim of the school should be to provide every individual student with favourable conditions for the development of their unique aptitudes, maturity, and self-fulfilment. It is possi-ble to complete this task provided that the atmosphere at school fosters mutual respect, as well as understanding and acceptance of every student’s needs. This article presents the premises of the approach of Solution Oriented School, and the potential practical uses of it in teaching. The im-plementation of this approach in education allows for the employment of alternative interaction methods with students, parents, and the teaching process itself, which opens up opportunities for a profound change in the atmosphere in Polish schools.
