“Communicating about yourself” on the Internet in the era of the dominance of the iconosphere

The article is an attempt to draw attention to the controversial practice of young people associated with the placement of their pictures and videos on the Web. The mass audience is “fed” by countless amounts of images supplied daily by the media and it is “hungry” new impressions. So “hungry” that on an increasing scale places on the Internet their private, intimate photos or videos. Today we are dealing with the narcissistic photography. Also, to exist on the web, it becomes necessary to provoke, a shame is outmoded and unprofitable nowadays.Downloads
