Police against the problem of domestic violence

Abstract

In this article the author presented the role of police in counteracting acts of domestic violence as well as the tools which can be used by police officers to fight effectively against this type of criminal behaviour. Procedure of so-called “Blue Card” plays a special role in accomplishing these aims and quickly allows to disclose and eliminate dangers, both physical and mental, resulting from domestic violence.
