The role of an academic teacher in e-learning

The content of the article is focused on defining the tasks of academic teachers in the context of e-learning education. In the first part, an attempt was made to define the position of an academic teacher in the e-learning process, taking into account current educational trends. The second part is a detailed arrangement of the functions that a lecturer should perform in his didactic work, taking into account the cognitive-constructivist theory of learning. The summary of the study consists of recommendations for universities and academic teachers in the field of effective use of e-learning technologies in the education process.
