The aim of the article is to present the opinions of Polish speech therapists on practicing the profession of speech therapist remotely. The analysis includes the use of technology by speech therapists in 5 areas: prevention, diagnosis, therapy, self-development, cooperation with others (consultations). The research was carried out in 2023 in the form of an online survey. 105 respondents, speech therapists with different professional experience, took part in them. The results show that Polish speech therapists prefer offline work – face to face in the office. In their opinion, the disadvantages of online work were reluctance to conduct activities in this form, difficulty in concentrating (especially in small children), and technical problems. The most important advantages were better cooperation with parents/caregivers, the ability to work with patients who live far from the office and making therapy more attractive.
