Specifics of Russian political life. Selected issues conditioning the development of political parties in Russia

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to show the peculiarities of the development of political life, which can be seen in the Russian political and social reality, and which is due to the peculiarities of the historical process.  The text will present a number of distinctive features (absolutely not all of them), which should be considered in several approaches: historical, social, ideological and cultural. The overall picture will present the characteristics relevant to the issue, which is the starting point for many of the themes addressed in the study of the development of Russia's political parties and movements at different historical stages. Today, it can provide a starting point for seeking answers to many questions about aspects of contemporary Russian Federation politics and public behavior in the reality of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
