Of the in-depth survey selected for the study, investigative journalism on the covers, N=115 (71%) turned out to have features that tabloids use. The weekly “wSieci”/“Sieci” and “Wprost” most often used the indicated types of tabloidization in presenting investigative journalism, and the type most often used out of the six included in the categorization key was the sensationalization of these messages on the covers.
