Abstract

The subject of this study is to formulate an answer to the question of whether distinguishing specific entities within the national cybersecurity system and entrusting them with specific tasks in this area is within the implementation of the principle of ensuring security. This is a protected value, and its implementation is addressed to public authorities. For this reason, entities included in the national cybersecurity system should be viewed from the perspective of fulfilling this obligation. The research problem is current not only due to the increasingly frequent phenomena of cyber threats and cyberattacks, but also due to the currently processed amendment to the Act on the National Cybersecurity System, the purpose of which is, among others, to adapt it to the provisions of EU law.
