The aim of this article is to analyze certain aspects related to the limitation of freedom and human rights in state security policy. The author points out the legal basis for these limitations and examines them from the perspective of ensuring state security. The formal and material grounds for these limitations, as well as the extent to which they influence Polish legislation, are indicated. The author uses the method of legal text analysis. The mentioned human rights are restricted, among other reasons, due to state security and the protection of public order. However, these limitations are necessary due to their purpose and the fact that they do not significantly violate the specified human rights and freedoms.
