Peer relations among late adulthood people. Experiences of class participants in senior clubs operating in the metropolitan area of Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot

The article assesses the role of peer relationships among people in late adulthood, including the context of meeting the basic needs of seniors. The study used a standardized survey questionnaire consisting of 25 main questions and 11 supplementary questions. The study participants were 88 seniors attending senior clubs operating in the Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot Metropolitan Area. The study participants expressed a clear belief in the important role of peer relationships as providing them with social support. In particular, instrumental and emotional support.
