Determinants of police officers' service in undercover operational and investigative work

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the conditions of service of police officers performing operational and reconnaissance activities under cover. At the beginning, the author defines the terms used in the regulations for undercover work and in the terminology of officers and then presents what is the work under cover of how the recruitment and training process of officers proceeds. The main content of the text is an analysis of the risks occurring during the performance of official activities, conditioned by stress, ethical problems, creating emotional ties and their effects. In the work, the author uses the literature of the subject and the results of his own research using the diagnostic survey method and the analysis of the case study.
