Privacy Statement

The editorial board of Sacrum et Decorum adheres to a policy of confidentiality, which means that both the manuscript and all correspondence or communication with Authors and Reviewers are treated as confidential. We expect Authors and Reviewers to respect these conditions and thus maintain confidentiality with regard to:
- correspondence with the editorial board of Sacrum et Decorum,
- the prohibition on publishing reviews, reports and any materials on any website or in any other manner without the prior consent of the Sacrum et Decorum editorial team, regardless of whether the submission is ultimately published.

 

Publication of personal data:

Submitting an article for publication in Sacrum et Decorum constitutes consent to the publication of the following personal data:

- the first name and surname of the author(s) of the article,
- the academic title or degree of the author(s) of the article,
- the place of employment of the author(s) of the article,
- contact details – email address, work telephone number and ORCID number of the author(s) of the article.

The above personal data will be published both in Sacrum et Decorum (print and electronic versions) and in the indexing databases with which the journal cooperates or will cooperate.

Management of personal data:

On 25 May 2018, the new Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (OJ EU L 119 of 04.05.2016) on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (known as the GDPR) and repealing Directive 95/46/EC. On this basis, UR Publishing House hereby informs you that:

1) The controller of your personal data (hereinafter referred to as the Controller) is the University of Rzeszów, al. Rejtana 16 C, 35-959 Rzeszów, represented by the Rector,

3) Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of publishing and distributing books (journals) pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, i.e. on the basis that processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Controller under the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016,

4) The recipients of your personal data are the University of Rzeszów, as well as entities providing delivery and transport services to the University of Rzeszów,

5) Your personal data will be stored for the period necessary to fulfil the purpose of processing indicated in point 3, until the expiry of the data retention obligation arising from legal provisions,

Your rights:

6) In connection with the processing of your personal data, you have the right to:

– request access to your personal data from the Controller,
– request the Controller to rectify your personal data,
– request that the Controller erases your personal data,
– request that the Controller restricts the processing of your personal data,
– object to the processing of your personal data,
– have your personal data transferred,

7) You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (UODO) where there are grounds to believe that your personal data is being processed by the Data Controller in breach of the General Data Protection Regulation of 27 April 2016 (GDPR),

8) The provision of personal data is voluntary; however, failure to provide the data to the extent required by the Data Controller may result in the order not being fulfilled,

9) We would also like to inform you that: The Controller makes every effort to ensure all physical, technical and organisational measures are in place to protect personal data against accidental or intentional destruction, accidental loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, use or access, in accordance with all applicable regulations.
