FOR AUTHORS

General information

Rules for the receipt of an article for publication

The Editors of the journal „Didactics of Information Technology” make every effort to eliminate all signs of scientific unreliability in the process of publication such as ghost writing, guest and gift authorship.

  • The Editors of the journal accept only original articles previously unpublished.
  • The authors are fully responsible for the content of the article.
  • The authors together with the article send a completed and signed Statement of Copyright and Publication Ethics to the editorial office of the journal. The statement can be downloaded in the Files to download tab.
  • The editorial office reserves the right to make abbreviations and linguistic corrections in the publication process and make some terminological changes if necessary.
  • The text of each submitted article is subject to initial verification for compliance with the profile of the journal. Articles that do not meet this requirement are returned to the Author.
  • Editorial staff ensures that substantive and objective reviewing is carried out by two reviewers from the list of reviewers (the list of reviewers is available in the Reviewers tab). Reviews are made in accordance with the "double-blind review process" procedure, which means that the authors and reviewers do not know each other's identities.
  • The review is prepared in writing on the review sheet (the review sheet is available in the Downloads tab) and contains an unambiguous conclusion from: a) to the Program Board decision, b) can be published in an existing form, c) after making corrections and after a re-review, d) after making corrections without the need to re-review, e) it is not suitable for printing In case of one positive review and the other one negative, the text of the article is directed to the third reviewer from the list of reviewers or the decision on acceptance or refusal of the article is made by the Program Council.
  • The authors are informed about the results of the review. If the reviewer’s conclusion indicates the need to improve or complete the article, it is sent back to the Author for correction and completion. The author is obliged to deliver the supplemented, enhanced and improved text of the article to the editorial office within 14 days.
