Humanist – engineer, about the social dimension of computer science

Abstract

The paper presents the development of computer science, including the emergence of its new branch – social informatics. It shows the genesis of the appearance of this discipline: what was the original source of its establishment, idea. The text also raises the issue of the prospects of social informatics graduates and their chances on the labor market.
