The article concerns the use of multimedia technology in the teaching of history. Today's youth belongs to the generation which is called as “digital native”. It means that they treat the existence of virtual reality as a natural part of the surrounding reality. The use of multimedia dur-ing history lessons can be used as an enrichment component for the matter presented by the teach-er, for example in the form of a clip of the film or presentation. The multimedia can be also used by the students in the form of individual work, it means: the preparation of online maps, comple-tion of tasks based on sources included in the network. Consequently, the use of multimedia tech-nology in the lesson should not only enrich conducted classes in terms of content, but also affect the motivation of students.Downloads
