The psychological and pedagogical knowledge on the subject of the gifted student on the basis of the Polish teacher’s work

Abstract

The article describes the many-sided attempt to analyze the issue of abilities and the term ‘gifted student’. The knowledge of psychology and pedagogy as well as anthropocentric, didactical approach is taken into account. In connection to that the gifted student and his efforts are considered subjectively. The purpose of the article is to draw attention to the social sciences which are useful in the Polish teacher’s work in each stage of education.
