Difficulties in Working with a Shy Child, in the Eyes of Teachers

Abstract

The problem of shyness seems to have been overlooked in the broad discussion of the issue of upbringing. The knowledge of educators on this issue determines to some extent the effectiveness of the educational activities undertaken. The aim of the research was to discern the teachers’ opinions on the difficulties in working with a shy child. Empirical material was collected using a self-created questionnaire containing semi-open-ended and open-ended questions.
