Quality of life is a complex category of research in which the scope of research as well as their interdisciplinary nature may entail many methodological problems. The aim of this study is to pay special attention to the selected problems in the design of empirical research on the quality of human life, starting from the very definition of the concept, through its semantic domain to the difficulty in measuring. The analysis of literature shows that, despite the development of research into the quality of life, researchers still face problems of methodological nature.Downloads
